Training First Aiders
Our current First Aiders do not want to continue when their current certification comes up for renewal later this year. I have tried in the past to encourage others to take on the role but no one wants to so it. They are afraid to take responsibility in the current "compensation culture"
Obvously, we have to have First Aiders and I can't see how I can "force" people to do it. I have suggested that they could be given an extra payment for the extra responsibility but that produced a guarded response from the directors.
Any ideas???
