Apologies that this is a repeat of a posting in 'Any Answers', but I'm getting none, and thought this group would be in an ideal position to provide some insight, so here goes...
I've just designed a new induction programme that relies much more heavily on the line manager. It is to be launched formally into the business in 3 weeks time. I'm looking for any research or evidence that will back up this approach and demonstrate the vital role that line managers play in successful induction, and longer term job satisfaction/employee engagement. I'm hoping to get statistics and interesting facts that can be used in an informal way.
Thanks,
Sheridan Webb
