HR tip: Return from maternity leave

HR Tip:
I’m afraid she is right! As far as you are concerned she will return on the due date unless she gives you adequate notice to return earlier. Underlying all this is that, whilst she may have strong views now about whether or not she will return, she may change her mind after the birth. Your best bet is to treat her well. If you do, she is more likely to let you know her intentions not too long after the birth.
