Online Profiles

Welcome to the online profiles area of TrainingZONE, supplied for us by onlineprofiles.com

Online profiles consist of a series of questionnaires you complete online. Simply click on the title of the profile you want to complete, and you'll be presented with a series of options to respond to. Once you've finished, add your e-mail address and choose a password to access the next stage.

You're then provided with immediate feedback in the form of a summary report, and can purchase a more detailed report afterwards at a cost of £9.50 plus VAT if you want more in-depth information on your responses. The programmes have been written by Dr. Charles Margerison who has worked extensively with organizations to improve business practice.

There are four categories on online profiles available to complete:

• Career Advantage - establishes your likes and dislikes and matches your profile against suitable occupations.

• Improving Performance at Work - helps to identify your approach to work, how you deal with work pressures, colleagues, managing your time and motivation.

• Communication and Problem Solving - provides suggestions and guidelines to help you consolidate and develop your communication and problem-solving skills. It is based on the key skills displayed on the Margerison Communication and Problem Solving Diamond.

• Understanding Others at Work - by identifying the personal qualities of a work colleague, the questionnaire asesses identifies the best courses of behaviours for you to develop good working relationships with them.
