COA Solutions Puts Focus on Paperless Finance and HR at Softworld 2009

- 1603 reads

8 October 2009 – Business applications software provider, COA Solutions (www.coasolutions.com), is focusing on its integrated paperless office technology on stands AF203 and HR204 at Softworld 2009 (13-14 October 2009, London Olympia 2). COA Solutions is also holding a series of ‘The Paperless Office Has Arrived’ seminars 11:30 – 12:15 on both 13 and 14 October (Theatres AFS2 and HRS1).

With the latest version of COA Solutions’ OpenAccounts financial management system (FMS) being the most paperless FMS on the market, COA Solutions will be demonstrating how financial documents can be created, delivered, circulated, stored and retrieved directly from users’ FMS. New functionality includes the automatic generation of mass mail merge documents and the conversion of reports into PDF for electronic delivery and Intranet display. Visitors to stand AF203, will also learn how integrated optical character recognition (OCR) technology, can be used to automatically capture data from inbound documents, such as invoices, reducing manual data entry.

On stand HR204, COA Solutions will be demonstrating its human capital management (HCM) integrated paperless office functionality for the electronic creation, distribution and storage of HR documents, such as contracts, disciplinary records, salary details, accreditations, pension records and health and safety documents. By producing, circulating and retrieving these documents and having each document automatically attached to the relevant employee record in the HCM system, the HR department can improve efficiency, cut costs and ensure regulatory compliance.

Mark Thompson, Managing Director of COA Solutions says, “A paperless organisation is an efficient organisation and so it is vital for businesses to move from manual processes to automated, paperless procedures. Organisations that use COA Solutions’ integrated paperless office functionality across both the finance and HR functions, streamline efficiencies, cut costs, aid compliance and eliminate paper waste.”

To find out more about COA Solutions’ paperless office technology for both finance and HR, for a chance of winning a year’s worth of cinema tickets and to play the electronic Paper Pileup game in COA Solutions’ game zone, visit stands AF203 and HR204 at Softworld 2009.

Editor's Welcome

Hello! And welcome back as we enter 2012, with a busy year ahead of us all. With talk of double-dip recessions, a possible partial or even full break-up of the Eurozone and unemployment rates set to hit nearly 9%, topics such as organisational streamlining, staff resilience and talent management are likely to be on many an HR professional's lips over the next 12 months.

But to lighten the gloom here in the UK, we also have the Queen's Diamond Jubilee and its attendant public holidays to look forward to at the start of June. Followed by two weeks of Olympic Games from 27 July to 12 August and the Paralympics from 29 August to 9 September, each generating their own excitement, but also issues to work through for hard-pressed HR departments trying to sort out the multifarious staffing issues in advance.

So with an interesting but challenging year to come, HRZone promises to be with you, supporting you all the way and providing our usual insightful blend of news, analysis, community blogs and expert comment to help you sort the wheat from the chaff. As ever, we love to hear from you too so feel free to either post your words of wisdom to our blog section yourself or, in the case of longer, more in-depth ‘expert voice’ articles, drop me a line with any ideas to cath.everett@siftmedia.co.uk.....
